Register of Australian Interests Overseas

The Register helps to protect Australian assets and personnel operating overseas and allows Australian companies to record the locations of their overseas staff, facilities and emergency contact details through a secure website.


 

Business Liaison Unit  

The ASIO Business Liaison Unit (BLU) was established in late 2005 to provide an interface between Australian business and the Australian intelligence community.

The BLU aims to ensure that owners and operators of critical infrastructure and other relevant members of the Australian business community can access timely ASIO information on matters affecting the security of the assets and staff for which they are responsible.

You should ring the National Security Hotline on 1800 123 400 if you:

  • have concerns about, or information on threats to Australias critical infrastructure; or
  • believe you have information of possible terrorist activity or have seen or heard something suspicious that may need investigation by security agencies.

If would like to report a crime or have information about possible criminal activity, you should contact your local police or the Australian Federal Police.
